The International CARE Electronics Office is pleased to announce the Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2023 conference and exhibition on Electronics and the Environment. It will take place in Parkhotel Schoenbrunn Vienna (Austria). This Symposium is the only platform for presenting the up-to-date progress on sustainable development and the development of eco-efficient electr(on)ic & automotive products.
The program will feature the latest in circular economy, environmental design, clean manufacturing, resource efficiency, climate change, new eco-efficient technologies, collection, reverse logistics, refurbishment, carbon trading, re-use, recycling and policy making from leading experts in industry, academia, consulting, recyclers and public area around the globe. Leading companies and institutions in green electr(on)ics will present their innovative products, processes and services at the exhibition.
All companies in the electr(on)ics, telecom, automotive, solar and PV, chemical and recycling industry, power suppliers, electricity generators and distributors, contract manufacturers, material and component suppliers, service and logistic companies, collective systems, academia, consulting and public authorities (local, regional, international) are invited to attend and contribute.

Advances in electronics have revolutionized the way in which we live and do business. However, today’s technological advance and mass consumption has a subsequent impact on the global environment. CARE Electronics (= Comprehensive Approach for the Recycling and Eco-efficiency of Electronics) is a strategic initiative to understand the international and national implications of sustainability for the electr(on)ics industry in the future.
CARE Electronics is an independent, industrial R&D network with members from large and small companies and research organisations.

This 4-days event follows CARE INNOVATION´96 (Frankfurt, Germany), CARE INNOVATION´98 (Vienna, Austria), Electronics Goes Green 2000+ (Berlin, Germany), CARE INNOVATION 2002 (Vienna, Austria), Electronics Goes Green 2004+ (Berlin, Germany), CARE INNOVATION 2006 (Vienna, Austria), Electronics Goes Green 2008+ (Berlin, Germany), CARE INNOVATION 2010 (Vienna, Austria), Electronics Goes Green 2012+ (Berlin, Germany), CARE INNOVATION 2014 (Vienna, Austria), Electronics Goes Green 2016+ (Berlin, Germany), CARE INNOVATION 2018 (Vienna, Austria) and Electronics Goes Green 2020+ (Berlin, Germany).
Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2023 will return to Vienna for the 8th time in order to continue the tradition as the world´s leading and most prominent congress on electr(on)ics and the environment.
Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2023 will address the following key questions:
Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2023 is the only platform for presenting the up-to-date progress on circular economy and the development of resource-efficient electr(on)ic products and services. The International Symposium will compare the three major economic regions Europe, America and Asia with high level plenary speakers from global electr(on)ic and recycling companies, research institutes and environmental & consumer organizations.
Leading industrialists, research directors, environmental experts and scientists will analyze the current situation of producer responsibility, environmentally-friendly electr(on)ic & automotive product development, issues of resource scarcity and criticality, clean production, green marketing, logistics and End-of-Life strategies.
Through a wide-range of presentations it will be discussed how the electr(on)ic & automotive industry can contribute in the area of sustainable development in general, and which products, technologies and services will be needed in particular.
Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2023 can provide individuals seeking business and/or research partners as well as RTD funding (EUREKA, Eurostars, European Union, global initiatives) with an important point of first contact. This will be made possible by assistance with meeting bookings in advance of the event, and with private meeting facilities made available during the event.
Located directly within the conference area the exhibition is like a village market place: central point for communication, presentation of new ideas and catering. Companies are presenting their new products and services and research institutes are demonstrating their latest results in electronics and the environment in a Vienna coffee house like atmosphere.
Take the opportunity and present your products and services to a forum of the world’s leading companies in electronics and the environment!
The conference language will be English. There will be no simultaneous translation provided.
